This policy explains what information Pokachine handles when you use this website or buy from one of our vending machines, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect very little, and we don't sell any of it.

On this website

This site has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no tracking cookies. We do not run analytics that identify you.

If you tap "Find A Machine Near Me", your browser asks you for permission to use your location. Your location is used on your device only, to sort machines by distance. It is never sent to our servers and never stored.

Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Netlify) and our map tile provider (CARTO / OpenStreetMap) receive your IP address when your browser loads the site and the map. That is a standard part of how websites load, and those providers have their own privacy policies.

At the machines

Machines accept card and mobile-wallet payments only. Payments are processed by our payment provider; Pokachine never sees or stores your full card number. We keep transaction records (time, location, shelf code, amount) so we can fix failed vends and issue refunds.

If you text the support number shown on a machine screen, we see your phone number and your message. We use them only to resolve your issue.

If you email us

Emails to pokachine@gmail.com are used to reply to you. We don't add you to any mailing list.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not run ads on this site. We do not build profiles of visitors.

Requests

If you want any information we hold about you (such as a support conversation or a transaction record) corrected or deleted, email pokachine@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page with a new date at the top.
